I'd likely have the same mindset as Rooney and see Arsenal and Chelsea as the best destinations. He'll start firing properly again when the switch comes, hopefully not abroad.

The whole situation makes me laugh. Last time he pulled this stunt to get a new contract he said it was because the club were lacking ambition and not signing enough world class players...so the club sign a world class player and he loses his place in the team! It could be argued that he has himself to blame for the situation he finds himself in. And why he asked for a transfer before the end of the season i will never know or understand. Hes just made the title celebrations awkward for him, the other players, manager and fans. Wait until the end of the season! I hope he enjoyed not playing, getting booed and the awkward handshake with Fergie yesterday. Maybe over the summer he will grow a braincell and realise the mistakes he has made, but i seriously doubt the United fans will be as forgiving as last time if he stays.
