If you can actually get Virgin on your TV I doubt if the card is the issue.

Can you outline how you have connected your TV aerial and VM cables?

With my set up I plug both cables into the back of my TV then use the TV remote to choose between the two inputs.

Just read your other thread, it does sound as though you need to phone VM if you now get an invalid notice. You could try the community support forum if you don't have a VM phone and don't want to use the 0845 number.
