That's the problem there is lots of people out there who are willing to pay for SSF1 standard def but its just sky who keep it locked up.
This proves even more the deal was done with the BBC and SKY without the interest of viewer and each side only protecting themselves. I couldn't see FOM and Bearnie Ecclestone wanting to lock out any potential viewers by not having a standalone option to view, that was the whole reason F1 was free to air even when most sports were locked behind Sky's paywall, because F1 thrives on maximum exposure due to its heavy reliance on sponsors and when viewing figures are higher for a highlights show on BBC rather than tuning in live there is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.
