It is a good move by SKY. I believe they are reacting to feedback from boxing fans who have suggested SKY haven't shown the same commitment as Boxnation by showing full cards. Would SKY have made this move if Boxnation didn't exist or didn't show full events? I'm guessing no.
It's healthy to have 2 broadcasters invested in the sport. Hopefully it'll drive both companies to improve and innovate. It's great that both are embracing TV fans live on the night by way of Twitter and the Boxnation scoring app.
