Even if someone can pay HMRC Dunfermline seem to be carrying a lot of debt for a first division club. I think we are getting closer to another liquidation.
It was never likely to be a happy ending as soon as Gavin Masterton got involved. It could be argued that his business practices were responsible for the death of Rangers and the Bank of Scotland. He's had his fingers in quite a few pies that involved David Murray. It's not a link that's too well publicised by the Scottish Media.
