You can't compare previous situations to now since, up until now, VM haven't had to compete against 2 rival fibre-optic broadband competitors who both have vaults full of TV content, including EPL football.

I think you're underestimating the threat YouView / BT / TalkTalk pose to VM but we'll have to agree to disagree.
