Osem, l apologise to you foir what l have said, Mu upbrinning was similar to yours, when l was a kid, it was very hard work for my parents, to go to the cinema l had to wait until Wednesday when l got in half price with my dad showing his OAP book.

Dindnt get a Tv until 1966, an old banger it was too, My gripe is the fact that no matter what party is in power, that elected government should look after his voters first and not make them poorer than what they are, and yet give huge amounts of money to other countries that can support it self, most of the money that people give to charities - most of this goes in admin and therefore that charity doesn't give it all to the right people. This why l no longer give to charities, l gave a sum to a charity two years ago and they spent that phoning me for a bigger donation.

Yes, my wife gets carers allowance - but that is a right that we allowed to receive.
