Not to mention the latter will have a lot more congestion - for now. And it's not download speeds that are the problem, it's latency, and you will be a lot faster on EE.

Well where I work people on EE are getting between 17 and 25mbs, I'm getting 20 ,sometimes as high as 28mbs+ for half the price and UNLIMITED. It will take a lot for me to ditch unlimited. When at home it's not uncommon for me to turn my iPhone into a hotspot connect my laptop to it wirelessly and download a tv show or 2. Whilst using my home connection for gaming.
With Sky unlimited and 3 unlimited I could never go back to limits.
