I am so pleased i didn't dither so ended up getting it for £25 and managed to add the free mediacentre key to it on the last day.
I did take an image of my windows 7 install before installing it incase i didn't like it, but to be honest i live on the desktop and the start screen is just a large start menu so all is good here for now.
