They would charge wholesale prices, and VM may even add charges of their own. For the convenience of having all this on the TIVO box, it would be worth it.

If BT Sports are to be on offer to us as a subscription, the money they save on the ESPN arrangements as part of the XL pack could just be diverted to make a Netflix deal possible.

There are various ways that VM could make this a viable proposition that would attract customers to its platform and prevent existing customers from leaving. I hope that this all becomes clear by the time BT Sports starts broadcasting.
