Because I don't want to count hundreds of copper coins..the percentages are so minute so it is be worth it.

Oh and in the meantime I actually try to give the right change from my purse to the annoyance of all the young whipper snappers in the queue behind me, instead of breaking a new note every time or even a pound coin.
