Years ago my mate's wife used to work as a supervisor in one of the contract sweatshops where they made football and rugby kits for Adidas, Reebok, Mitre etc. and she would often bring home rejects off the production line for the next season's jerseys (mostly very minor stitching defects).
A load of us got spotted on telly wearing the next season's Liverpool kit at Wembley during the 96 FA cup final. Don't think anyone gets away with doing that these days
