Barclays to close 'tax avoidance' unit

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21397844

What shocks me is that they ran this unit in the first place.

Quote:
Barclays is to close down a part of its business which helped clients avoid tax, the BBC understands.

The bank will still help clients with their tax arrangements on transactions, but will not engage in activities where the main purpose is to avoid tax.
I wonder how much tax the tax man did not recover because of this unit ?
