It's not surprising negative factors that didn't happen during the specified timeframe didn't have a negative effect during the specified timeframe.

There have been many posts about, they will lose custom if they don't get Atlantic, BB from Sky and BT is far better and will drive customers away from VM, price rises are unacceptable and people will move to competitors etc etc. My point was, Virgin Media is holding its own when the competition is getting more intense.
