A lot of people are on Virgin because of the available speeds - you just can't get higher than about 20MBit on even a good ADSL line, but now that FTTC is rolling out there's far less incentive to sticking with Virgin as those kind of speeds are readily available (where FTTC is available, that is). Oh but wait, your speed is being DOUBLED? Well maybe just stick around for a bit, it saves the hassle of switching.

Sorry not sure that whatever the cause "Non delivery " is a great business plan. So I get we are doubling your BB at no extra cost - here is a price rise & no speed increase yet. Next year-We will double you speed sometime next year & have an other price increase, but doubling is "coming soon" ( 2010-2112 & it aint here yet!! ). As it happens I do not care about the extra speed. Just as well or I would have taken up infinity along time ago. When was that up & RUNNING? O` yes around the first notice from Virgin. Strange aint it
