OK so messed about with the Tenda N60 router at the weekend, I used modem mode to start with but I had trouble setting it up with my server, & bearing in mind the core requirement was to improve wireless upstairs so I added it as a second router, the default IP was different from the superhub so just connected it upstairs to the wired network changed the SSID etc. and bingo.. speeds are now good getting between 150 -270Mbs before it would typically be 65 -100 ish. & of course I now have the option for dual band so 5g as well. not to mention the wireless load can be split between the routers. I'm not really technical enough to know if this is the best way to set it up but it all seems to work. £35.00 delivered easy to set up & so far seems to work a treat.
