The change may mean nothing and its simply a case of making the message clearer although "Excusive to Sky customers" did this in my opinion?
Was the old statement “Exclusive to SKY customers” or was it “Exclusive to SKY”?

If the statement was previously “Exclusive to SKY customers” I agree that was a clear statement. “Exclusive to SKY” however could easily be misinterpreted. Viewers may have thought that the content on SKY Atlantic was exclusive to SKY rather than the actual channel i.e. Mad Men is now exclusive to SKY not the BBC. This may not have made it clear to SKY customers that the actual channel itself is not available via any other provider such as Virgin or BT. The new statement however makes it crystal clear that the channel itself can’t be viewed via any other provider.
