He wasn't doing well though. It seems they're being more proactive than they were about Kean, maybe overcompensating to an extent, this is how they've been told to behave.

I think you'll find it was us who took a chance on him, despite a good scoring record he has a dodgy knee and went on strike at least once in Germany and he was consistent for us, his goals gave us a chance of staying up in spite of Avram's best efforts.
