Re: Question about adding a new router.

You can leave the SH in router mode if you want and attach the ASUS in bridge mode. This will give you 8 wired ports. Of course you'd turn wireless off on the SH - the source of all troubles with that device.

That's merely adding to Rob's answer.

The BEST thing to do is to put the SH into modem mode and if you need extra wired ports, add a small switcxh to one of the router ports. It's certainly what I've done, Trouble free and Asus wireless is excellent.
