Re: TV price rises

If you are currently a Virgin customer, but used to be a customer of SKY, and are not happy with the recent price increases you might just be in luck.

As you know if you are in contract with Virgin you can cancel all of your services within 30 days of being notified of the increase. You can walk away without any penalty. I did it earlier this week, fairly straight forward.

According to various SKY forums SKY are offering SKY World TV subscriptions to ex customers for £24.12 per month. That's all channels, including SKY Sports and SKY Movies in HD and the 3D channel. 75% off for 12 months. The offer ends on 30/12/12. If interested you need to call 08442 411 194.

Looks like SKY might be trying to capitalise on recent price increases from Virgin.

At a time when everyone is looking to save money, and tighten the purse strings, SKY are putting offers out there that are hard to resist. Have Virgin ever offered 75% rebate for returning customers?
