I do support Wenger. I want him to turn it around. It hurts me as a supporter to see him decline because of his own hellbent ways yet I'm not foolish enough to blindly support him. Players don't react to his methods. There are players at Arsenal, resources that are not being utilized. You say any other manager couldn't do anything when thats not true. Do you honestly think Fergie would put up some of the crap going on at Arsenal? I doubt it very much. He'd have the players performing at the very least and if not kick them out the club.

He has actually built three teams at Arsenal - the first double winning side, the Invincibles and the FĂ*bregas' era team. This current team is not one of them. Since that players from the FĂ*bregas era have departed (2010) we've been a bit hectic and, frankly, a mess but Wenger still got that shower to third place in the league and successively past the group stages of the Champions League. Something that is no small achievement considering Chelsea and United have both failed to do that in recent years.
Firstly the money was there. Wenger decided to bang out mega contracts to youth instead. Some came off but the obvious pee takers didn't. Fine nothings perfect still as a manager if you see a fault you fix it, or try or get rid of the problem and add something that will add something to the cause. Hardly any money? yeah the clubs been banking and good, we need it for the future still I don't see how adding a player or two in the region of 15mil each would ruin us. That would of got us honours, winning trophies, competitions. that then in turn brings in more revenue in various areas.

I cannot fault Wenger of reaching the CL still I'm not going to be content with that. not when we COULD and SHOULD be moving forward. I don't buy into 'what if it doesn't work'. Make it work and it'll happen. After all you yourself have already highlighted this is a manager thats built quality sides. I myself see Wenger as a manager worth 100mil spend each window so the spend required isn't as much as what other clubs spend still no sign of that extra player or two coming in. So bloody what if other players are hampered, it keeps everyone on their toes. If theres success where our game is peaking playing great stuff the players not involved will want to get involved. they will have an extra spring in their step, its natural to react that way.

We have the elements there, the English core of Wilshere, Chamberlain and such but now we need that process to be faster with some bigger buys more akin to the Invincible Era than the FĂ*bregas era.
he had the chance to get a brilliant title winning squad together but opted not to buy the 1 or 2 player(s) needed. he earned the right to freedom which hes now got but undeniably failed. CL qualification aside hes failed to utilize resources. I hope that changes and he manages to clear the crap so players can be brought in.

right firstly Stans Mr Security. Nothing more, nothing less. Arsenals seniors will not allow Arsenals way to become a thing of the past. The way the club has been run is how it will continue to be run. Stans a lucky man to be involved at Arsenal.

We also have assets in players going untouched. Please don't tell me they've given up, if that was the case then we'd be within our right to rip their contracts up. Their only playing Wengers methods.

We've said that for the past 2 years now have we not? Wengers decides hes got better ideas.

No, everybody wasn't saying it was epic. Its was ok but not great and i think you'll find people working in the City within finances were saying it wasnt all that. Arsenal could have obtained a few more quid had we been competing so its poor. please note I do not accept our current state and I don't see it as a reason to hype up deals. Yes Arsenal is a huge brand, of it is yet that very brand should be moving forward rather than sideways and backwards. Moving forward sees progression when dealing with revenue. The ball would be fully in our hands rather than businesses willing to sponsor. We'd call the shots. Businesses would happily hand over a few extra mil for their name to be printed. I take you back to 08, playing great stuff. Screw the fact we needed a player or two extra, focus on the football played. That got great attention. Thats the sort of thing businesses are looking to sponsor. 'did you see Arsenal play last night, they play some brilliant stuff, all that pass and movement its like playing Fifa' etc. Viewers then take note of every little thing connected to Arsenal which of course includes sponsor names.
