When I booked I tried to get it as close to the fibre install day as possible. Noticed from their calender that they could do the install really quickly but only allowed you to go as far forward as 10 or 12 days or something like that. Hopefully just a limitation they put on the online booking and can be resolved via a phone call.

Know what you mean about speaking to cancellations cementing the feeling you are doing the right thing. They were pretty rude in their attempt to trick me into staying by their lies about other providers.

VM called me yesterday to offer a cheaper price and again today even though I told them I wasn't interested. So expect a call from them in 3 weeks or so.
