Assuming you used tomatousb - I don't know if this differs from tomato.
When I originally flashed mine I had some strangeness.
IIRC I resolved my issues by erasing NVRAM

administration/
configuration/
restore default config/and finally from the dropdown
erase all data from NVRam memory
