am I right that your only isuue with windows 8 is the fact you can not play COD4 because of a Punkbuster problem? That is an issue with punkbuster not windows 8 they need to fix it

I ghosted my windows install before I upgraded and I have recovered windows 7 and upgraded again 4 times without any issue at all
The wait a year is a good idea for those who lose their rag when things do not go right
My old man is worse than you I have told him he is not having it lol . All new OS's have teathing problems XP needed 2 service packs before it become the much loved OS that it did
