Two points here.
1. This is un-addressed, general mail-shots. They cannot easily only post to specific addresses.
2. Any specifically-addressed mail is sent because you have (had) a previous relationship with the company. However, you can easily stop these by asking the company do remove you from their mailing database. This applies to
any company.
