There's actually a nice cross-section of channels; from general entertainment to sport and music.

A fair point but perhaps negotiations take longer than you or I think they do/should.

Why? My Tivo still works the way it always has and I'm perfectly happy with that. Any sort of streaming was neither guaranteed nor even mentioned when it was
originally announced; so we've lost nothing.
We have, however, gained an app to control our Tivos and the ability to remotely manipulate Series Links and Recordings

Where was it promised or guaranteed that all channels would be available from launch? Go on. Provide a link please.
I agree that more channels and the ability to stream your own content would be good and yes, perhaps VM should have acted sooner to get more channels from launch, but none of these things are
essential and they will get here eventually.
