I raised the same point yesterday. Seems to be purely coincidence
The price increases are not linked to the free stuff you are getting
Now there is no way to prove this however you've got to trust your gut instinct. I know what Virgin are doing, you know what Virgin are doing, and other customers on other forums know what Virgin are doing.
