Hi all, I have recently moved in with my girlfriend, she has kindly enough agreed to accommodate my rather excessive MMO gaming ‘needs’ (how cool huh!)
However she already has a number of connections in the property, currently she has a TiVo box in the lounge which naturally connects to the TV & the broadband router, with various other bits connecting via the wifi – iPad, laptop, phone etc
In the bedroom where my PC will be living we have a vBox, I’m guessing though not 100% sure, that I can’t use the vBox to connect to the internet via the Ethernet port?
The easy solution is to connect via a wifi router, though i’m not a huge fan of wifi, whenever my PC has been connected to the internet previously it has been directly via the modem, my experience with wifi hasn’t been the best, from poor connectivity to low speeds, it just doesn’t fill me with confidence & i need a stable connection or there’s just no point.
Would anyone be kind enough to suggest a solution to my problem?
