It would be if it wasn't so serious .Lord Mcalpine has said he is suing the BBC ,all Newsnight investigations have been suspended and the rape victim has had to apologize on air .Seriously embarrassing for all involved .My own thoughts are that all internal investigations into the JS scandal should be taken out of the BBC's hands

Surely that would be standard practice in basic journalism .It's the sort of standard i would expect from the Daily Star not a flagship news program with massive resources behind it
