My old XP system wouldn't allow me to download a copy on to USB as I hoped that would be a quicker way. No chance.
Well I have finally got Windows 8 re-installed by borrowing my dad's Vista laptop, running the upgrade tool, creating an iso, burning a DVD and installing from that (after 3 calls to support I was informed that XP doesn't allow creating a boot media when running the Windows 8 upgrade tool.

However after going through all that I now can't activate Windows 8 as I had to do a clean install

I will have to contact support tomorrow and hope they can give me a valid product key.
