I see that some of you have already got your Tivo boxes linked ready for multi-room streaming. Would someone like to explain exactly how this is done?
I thought that it would just involve using a couple of Powerline adaptors, but in looking at the website
http://www.tivo.com/products/tivo-stream/index.html which RB2004 mentioned in regard to streaminig to remote devices, there is mention of MoCA and clicking on the link to 'What is MoCA?' it states
Note: Wi-Fi and Powerline (also called HomePlug® ) networking are not sufficient for streaming shows reliably. MoCA, on the other hand, provides 170 Mbit/s Net TCP throughput!
So is MoCA required to set up a reliable connection between 2 Tivo boxes?
