It cost us over £13 for a 5 minute call to speak to patient in hospital on the 0700 NHS Patient Line.It also cost him similar sums to phone out. We lived miles away so it was not practical top visit him. The hospital did not like him using his mobile. What a con. it is bad enough being ill without being penalised financially by charging very high call cost a minute for telephone calls.He was very upset and has not helped his recovery.
