I cannot imagine that a top quality referee with a microphone would come out with anything so stupid.

I think its pure sour grapes from Chelsea as they lost players and lost the game.

Torres, has only himself to blame for this as he is a well known diver and he gets caught, but it was his SECOND booking - so he walks.
