A shed load of money needs to be invested (in the billions) in renewable energy, tax payer doesn’t want to pay hence increases in bills.

A thread will be opened in years to come about having to ration your elec as we did not build more power plants.
Why should the taxpayer be paying for it as this is more a case of shortsightedness by previous governments and energy companies over the last 30 years and its now us consumers who are having to stump up the money through increased bills who are paying for most of it.
