Like the 3rd generation iPad (which was only released in MARCH!

), but with an Apple A6X SoC instead of the A5X, Lightning connector, expanded LTE support for the "cellular" model so it will work with EE's 4G LTE in the UK. Ships 2nd November, same price points as the "New" (now old and discontinued) iPad - 16GB / 32GB / 64GB WiFi only models are £399 / £479 / £559, add £100 for WiFi + Cellular.
[Also announced in the same event, but nothing to do with iPads:
A new iMac design. Thinner (no optical drive), new display, Ivy Bridge & USB3, NVIDIA GPU instead of Radeon, 8GB RAM to start instead of 4GB, option for a "Fusion" hybrid SSD/HDD.
A new Mac Mini.
A 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display.]
