Does a postcode really make much difference if they have the network route form a tracert anyway? Genuine question I am interested to know the answer to.

I have a London postcode (as I am in London ) yet I seem to share fault numbers with people miles away with a Surrey postcode.

Checked out the locations of where the IP's on the traceroutes and some do say Crawley, but I am guessing they are just registered there and not actually at that location. Could be wrong though!

I'm 13 or 14 miles from the Linx locations but it wouldn't surprise me if I routed through Crawley and Poole and back up again, making it a 170 mile trip
