Thanks for the advice, I'll check that out tonight. It happened earlier in the year and I called them to be told, wait for it, that if I manually reboot it at least once a week, that should stop it booting randomly!
I gave them the benefit of the doubt, of course, so I tried a few manual reboots, but still got random boots.
The frustration, if they suggest replacing it, is I'd lose my recordings - can't see them swapping out a hard disk drive.
