As of this precise moment, there is no 'if' about it. His legal status is clear, clean, innocent and unblemished. That can only change *if* he is charged, tried and convicted. *If* that process is set in motion, it would not be concluded for many months.

As you were responding to a post that drew attention to the negative consequences of merely having been arrested, your post had the appearance to me of suggesting "there's no smoke without fire". I'm glad that is not the case.
