I think you are getting a bit confused.

Downgrade rights are different to reverting to a previously installed version of Windows

Downgrade rights allow you to uninstall the OEM version of Windows that came with your PC and install a different version but allows a licenced upgrade again back to the licenced version that came with the PC http://www.microsoft.com/oem/en/lice...de_rights.aspx

As far as I read it, the only issue you would have with what you want to do is installing your W7 install on another computer at the same time as the upgraded W8 install. As long as you were doing it on the same machine, you can wipe W8 and reinstall W7 without breaking the licence
