In all honesty MB we do know
If BT didn't launch on Virgin and Sky at a reasonable price (my guess is that Xl customers will either get it on the cheap or it be subsumed into the costs a la ESPN) then the whole BT project will crash and burn.
BT will HAVE to offer it to Sky & VM no if and or bust
