Makes sense... Why try and cram extra cores in, when you can have the same number of cores but use ones that are newer and faster. Still get the performance increase, but without the size of power issues, and without apps needing to be re-optimised to use four cores. |
That's what i picked up on ,more is not always better and haven't i phones had issues in the past with power usage and heat buildup ?.One of the things i was curious about was how do they keep modern smartphones cool with multiple cores
