Aye! its even worse when they come to your door, as that's eye to eye contact, which is different.
So when they come to try and get me to move Gas/Electric companies over to them, I always say,....... "Thanks for asking but we are perfectly happy with our present supplier"
That seems to work better than slamming the door in their face, but you have to say it before they get the chance to give their sales speech.
