David Lanigan is hoping for a strong pace to bring out the best in his Ladbrokes St Leger hopeful Main Sequence.
Lanigan's stable star got closes to the Triple Crown-seeking Camelot in the Derby at Epsom before an unlucky run in the Grand Prix de Paris and a second in the Great Voltigeur.
"He did a nice piece of work on Saturday, that was his last strong piece and he will do another easy piece on Wednesday. He's come out of it in good order and seems well. We scoped him last week and he scoped clean, so hopefully we have a nice quiet week and get there in one piece," Lanigan told At The Races.
