I can't remember if you can only trace a route if its a direct connection or whether you can do it from the router onwards?

You can do a Trace Route from the SuperHub at Advanced Settings>Tools>Trace Route

Help: The Trace Route area allows you to show the route and transit delays of data packets to a particular IP/Host. Target IP/Name: Input the IP address/Host name of the device/server to trace.
Note: Trace route is preset to use a maximum of 30 hops / 64bytes."
