I doubt that prices of the 4S will fall before the 5 is released.

I don't know about the networks, but Apple itself doesn't keep huge stocks of things. It turns around its entire inventory quite quickly.

IMO, if prices of the 4S are to fall it will happen after the release of the 5 (much like the price of earlier models fell when the 4S was released, and so on...).

I was lucky in that I started the year before the orignal fees were first brought in, so had a grant & loan all the way through with no fees at all. If I were going now, I think the current fees would definitely put me off!
