Yes Carl, and I agree that they didn't have a crystal ball, but if they quoted 18 months in the first place it might have been a bit better. They must have had some timescale in mind when they let me know it was most likely to happen this July just gone.
But the main problem is why should I not be charged the current rate for a 30meg connection? Surely they know what customers are out of contract? And yes I could ring, and most likely will ring and complain. But I took them at their word and was expecting a July upgrade. Should I have been checking the site every day to see if they had moved the goalposts? It was only once I realised that my upgrade hadn't happened I checked.
