When the wife started using her phone for mobile internet access we found the only way to do so was to select the 'use packet data' setting. By unselecting this option, we've found she can now send texts, however. This seems rather strange to me but it works even though it's a pain having to deselect mobile internet access every time you want to send a text...
Does any of this make sense to you tecchie folks and is there any alternative?
