Sorry Ben, but I was told originally that I would be upgraded sometime between April and June. Then they changed this to July. Then I was told that a problem I had would be sorted when I was upgraded to 120mb by 29th August at the latest. Now I am being told October.

Virgin didn't have to offer it's existing customers an automatic upgrade. They could have restricted it to new customers and upgrading customers only, and when there are complaints like this I sometimes wish they had as it would be less complicated.
Yes they did have to, because many customers would have gone to BT Infinity. Which is something I personally am tempted to do if VM don't get their act together, and stop making excuses.
