Thanks for all the advice guys, I spoke to the fitters and they didnt have any cat 6 anyway, bugger,,,,,,, I will probably just get some off ebay for what they cost....

The ones I've lashed in have been terminated by me with a cheap crimping tool and they aint pretty , fiddly little gets arent they.

I'd always wondered if it was a potential issue or not so worst case is it's cost me a few quid, which isnt the end of the world in the grander scheme of things.

I'l try to run them as far away as possible from the power cables but at some point they have to cross path's.
