Quite - there was a radio talk in last night about how 'jingoistic' we're being FGS! We spend decades trailing in the wake of and admiring countries which have invested in their proud, patriotic sportsmen/women and get results, then when we finally manage to emulate them and beat them at their own game we're supposed to feel guilty about it all and celebrating the fact.
It's quite bizarre really...
